The wait is finally over! The iconic Vaal River Bass Classic is back, bigger and better than ever. We are thrilled to announce a two-day R500,000 Africa Elite Classic!
But that’s not all – on Sunday, the excitement continues with a R 1,000,000 Africa Challenge, bringing the total prize purse to an unprecedented R1,500,000 over the three-day festival of bass fishing.
This monumental event now holds the title of the biggest prize purse bass angling competition in South African history. Get ready to make history on the Vaal River!
Major League Fishing (MLF), the world’s premier tournament fishing organization, presents an exciting opportunity for anglers competing in the Africa Elite Classic. Participants will have the chance to qualify for the prestigious Toyota Series Championship in the United States.
During the Africa Elite Classic, anglers can compete for two MLF USA slots and two MLF Europe slots, opening the door to international recognition and elite-level competition.
No pre-qualification is needed. Entry to either event requires only a free EBASS Africa affiliation.
